Part Time RN - Acute Care Medical

About the role

Provides compassionate inpatient nursing care in a fast-paced, 24-bed advanced acute care unit. Responsible for assessing, planning, executing, and evaluating patient care to ensure safety, satisfaction, and optimal health outcomes. The unit provides valuable experience for those interested in emergency or critical care nursing.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive assessments and addresses physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
• Develops and coordinates individualized care plans, including patient education and discharge planning.
• Delivers direct care such as treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures in accordance with policies.
• Evaluates intervention effectiveness and adjusts care plans accordingly.
• Collaborates proactively with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to meet patient needs.
• Troubleshoots equipment issues and participates in evidence-based practice decision-making.
• Contributes to a team-oriented environment focused on quality, safety, and organizational metrics.

Qualifications

Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing; compassionate, team player with strong communication and clinical skills, capable of working in a dynamic environment.
