Part Time - Restaurant Server

About the role

Server at a gastropub located inside an airport, responsible for providing exceptional customer service, taking and inputting orders, preparing dishes, and ensuring a smooth dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Answering guest questions and offering recommendations on food and beverages
• Accurately entering orders into the POS system
• Preparing dishes such as salads, desserts, and beverages
• Monitoring guests' needs and responding to requests
• Clearing and resetting tables and counters
• Balancing checks, accepting payments, and reconciling accounts
• Performing other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications & Skills

• 6 months' experience in retail or food service
• High school diploma preferred
• Strong communication skills in English
• Customer service experience and problem-solving abilities
• Basic math skills for handling transactions
• Food handler permit and relevant certifications as required
• Ability to remember menu items and operate POS systems
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and work in confined spaces
