Part Time Respiratory Therapist

Role Overview: This position is for a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) responsible for assessing patients' respiratory needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and ensuring optimal patient care. Key Responsibilities Performing thorough patient assessments and establishing care plans.Administering therapeutic modalities such as aerosolized medications, oxygen therapy, and secretion management.Managing mechanical ventilators and non-invasive monitoring devices.Providing patient and family education on disease management.Assisting with emergency airway management and intra-hospital patient transport.Supporting procedures like fiberoptic bronchoscopy and invasive line placement.Ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory standards, and confidentiality regulations.Serving as a Shift Coordinator and preceptor for new staff and students. Qualifications & Skills Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy (required).ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required (training provided).Strong communication, clinical judgment, and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently with protocol-driven care and evidence-based practices.Experience with advanced equipment and technology in a clinical setting.
