Part Time Registered Veterinary Technician - Exotics
About the role
Ohana Pet Hospital of Agoura Hills is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) with exotics experience to join our team and support both outpatient care and procedural services, including surgery and dentistry. We are seeking a versatile, client-focused technician who thrives in a dynamic practice environment - balancing exam room care, client communication, and hands-on procedural support. We value credentialed technicians for the clinical knowledge, judgment, and communication skills they bring across all areas of the hospital, helping elevate the quality of medicine, client experience, and patient care. In this position, you will play a key role in both outpatient and procedural workflows, contributing to a consistent, high standard of care throughout the patient visit. This role is ideal for technicians who enjoy variety in their day, are confident moving between exam room and procedure support, and want to fully utilize their clinical knowledge, technical skillset, and client communication abilities in a collaborative general practice environment. Ohana Pet Hospital of Agoura Hills is a 2-doctor mixed-animal practice caring for dogs, cats, birds, chickens, pigs, pocket pets, reptiles/amphibians, and small ruminants. The hospital offers digital X-ray, digital dental radiography, and ultrasound, with services including preventive care, surgery, dentistry, emergency care, soft tissue procedures, orthopedic procedures, routine surgery, boarding, and pet transport. This is an opportunity for a veterinary professional who enjoys species variety and a broad clinical caseload.
