Registered Veterinary Technician (Part-Time)

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care, including administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and performing lab work.
• Guide and mentor the medical team to ensure efficient workflow and skill development.
• Educate pet owners on treatments, review medical records, and answer their questions.
• Contribute to a positive culture by training teammates, providing feedback, and maintaining high hospital standards.

Requirements

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
• Current state veterinary technician license (RVT) in good standing.
• Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
• Ability to remain calm and efficient in fast-paced or stressful situations.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

One year of experience in the veterinary industry is preferred.
