Registered Veterinary Technician (Part-Time)

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care, including administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and performing lab work.
- Guide and mentor the medical team to ensure efficient workflow and skill development.
- Educate pet owners on treatments, review medical records, and answer their questions.
- Contribute to a positive culture by training teammates, providing feedback, and maintaining high hospital standards.
Note: Responsibilities may vary based on state-specific licensing and the Veterinary Practice Act.
Requirements
- Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
- Current state veterinary technician license (RVT) in good standing.
- Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
- Ability to remain calm and efficient in fast-paced or stressful situations.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
One year of experience in the veterinary industry is preferred.
