Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) - Behavioral Health

About the role

The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, patient-centered care as part of an interdisciplinary team, following evidence-based practices and adhering to professional standards and ethical codes.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, plans, implements, and evaluates individualized patient care.
• Partners with patients and families, ensuring clear communication and respecting cultural diversity.
• Coordinates safe care delivery, promotes teamwork, and supports performance improvement initiatives.
• Serves as a preceptor or mentor, fostering professional development and a healthy work environment.
• Engages in evidence-based practice, research, and data collection to enhance care quality.
• Supports resource management, protocol development, and compliance with organizational policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Active RN license (single-state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification required upon hire.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with direct patient care preferred.
