Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) - Behavioral Health

About the Role

The RN Clinical Nurse is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team providing high-quality, safe, patient-centered care in a clinical setting. They perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—guided by evidence-based practices and professional standards to ensure individualized care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver relationship-based care tailored to diverse patient populations, involving patients and families in care planning.
• Coordinate and document safe, quality care using effective communication and teamwork.
• Support performance improvement, research, and evidence-based practice initiatives.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor to promote workforce development.
• Adhere to organizational policies, legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
• Participate in protocol development and resource management to optimize patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Valid RN license (single-state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with direct patient care preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, teamwork, and professional development skills.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous improvement.
