About the role
This role is for a registered nurse providing inpatient care during night shifts at an orthopedic hospital.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care
- Evaluate care effectiveness
- Coordinate with other departments
- Ensure patient rights and confidentiality
- Maintain professional accountability in line with organizational standards
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current RN licensure
- Basic Life Support certification
- Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, or specialty-specific credentials may be required based on department needs
Skills and physical requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to stand/walk for prolonged periods
- Ability to perform physical tasks like reaching and bending
