Part-Time Registered Nurse

About the Role

Provide professional nursing care, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and well-being. Utilize the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and education. Implement medically prescribed interventions, administer medications, monitor responses, and respond to changes in patient condition. Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatments, and medications, and ensure understanding. Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality care in a step-down overflow setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and shifts.
• Perform procedures, monitor, and document care accurately.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and medications.
• Respond proactively to patient requests and changes in condition.
• Collaborate with the medical team to implement care plans and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure and BLS certification.
• One year of hospital nursing experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN program (with a five-year completion goal).

Qualifications

• Preferred master's degree in nursing.
• Excellent communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills.
