About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct resident care, lead shift routines, and supervise staff in a long-term care setting. The role involves planning, directing, and evaluating nursing activities, administering medications, performing assessments, and ensuring resident dignity and safety.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and effective communication within the nursing team
- Monitor resident health, report changes, and update care plans
- Ensure documentation accuracy and adherence to policies
- Manage personnel functions such as staff assignments and performance evaluations
- Participate in committee meetings and maintain a safe, clean environment
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Current RN licensure and CPR certification
- Experience in long-term care preferred
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work collaboratively
- Proficiency with electronic documentation and assessment tools
