Part-Time Registered Nurse

Role Overview

This position involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care as a Registered Nurse in a stepdown overflow unit. You will assess patient conditions, perform medical procedures, administer medications, and ensure thorough documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status during admission and shifts, reporting changes promptly.
• Perform procedures, monitor responses, and document care accurately.
• Administer prescribed medications and respond to adverse reactions.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatments, and medications, translating complex information clearly.

Qualifications & Skills

• RN licensure and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of employment.
• Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience.
