Responsibilities
- Provide onsite services to participants with intellectual and developmental disabilities through evidence-based and data-driven methodologies that include trauma-informed care and positive behavior supports.
- Model and implement behavioral support strategies specified in the Behavior Plan that assist the participant with acquiring, retaining, improving, and generalizing the behavioral, self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills necessary to function successfully in the home and the community.
- Provide timely and structured written feedback to the clinicians on the provision and effectiveness of the Behavior Plan and strategies.
- Participate in onsite meetings or instructional sessions with the participant’s support network regarding the recommendations, strategies, and next steps identified in the Behavior Plan.
- Collect data on progress and work collaboratively to ensure effective behavior reduction, skill acquisition, and skill generalization.
- Prepare progress reports for the participant’s team as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Successfully complete a 40-hour behavioral technician training.
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Knowledge of Positive Behavior Supports.
- Ability to implement Behavior Plans independently and confidently.
- Excellent time management skills.

Schedule
- Daytime, afternoon, evening, and weekend hours available.
- Flexible schedules with full caseloads.
Pay
$25/hr. based on experience (14 hours weekly).
