Responsibilities
- Answer all incoming calls promptly, friendly, professionally, and pleasantly.
- Provide accurate information about store hours, services, and promotions.
- Be knowledgeable about basic customer inquiries, courteous while assisting customers, and transfer calls to appropriate associates or areas for further assistance.
- Take and relay messages clearly and efficiently.
- Assist in general office duties, including mail service, sorting and opening mail, updating phone lists, and supporting other office positions as needed.
- Assist in various projects for members of the Leadership team as needed.
- Read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Demonstrate multitasking, organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Use Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Publisher, and Excel.
- Perform basic mathematical equations.
Requirements
- Associate's degree (AA/AS) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Sedentary work – exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods.
Schedule
This position includes:
- 1-2 nights a week, Monday through Friday, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM.
- Every other weekend: Saturdays (shifts vary between 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM) and Sundays (11:00 AM – 7:00 PM).
- On average, 15-20 hours per week.
Pay
$16 per hour.
