Part-Time Reader – MSCF Admissions Office -Tepper School of Business

Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Part-time, approximately 25 hours per week, flexible schedule (typically November–May).

About the role

The Part-Time Reader will complete a comprehensive evaluation of application materials submitted to the MSCF program, supporting the enrollment of academically and professionally qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Read and evaluate applications using a standard guide to make initial decision recommendations
• Compare and synthesize data to assess applicants’ strength relative to the pool
• Follow a fast-paced workflow under tight deadlines
• Attend yearly training on admissions requirements and reading process
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
• Background in a business-related subject area preferred
• 1–3 years of admissions/recruiting experience required
• A combination of education and relevant experience demonstrating comparable knowledge may be considered
• Ability to synthesize multiple pieces of information and make initial admissions recommendations
• Excellent communication and social skills
• Proficiency in using technology
