Admissions Application Reader - (part-time/remote/flexible hours)

About the Role

As an Admissions Application Reader, you will play a crucial role in helping to shape the incoming class of BYU students by reviewing and scoring admissions applications based on pre-determined guidelines. This is a part-time, remote position with flexible hours.

Readers are required to complete approximately 20 hours of work per week from the date of hire through mid-January, including availability during the holiday season. Additionally, availability is required during two designated one-week periods in early June and August. Outside of these peak periods, limited opportunities may be available to take on additional hours.

This role is remote, allowing you to work from home using your own computer. Hours can be completed at your discretion, including evenings and weekends, with no fixed schedule.

Responsibilities

• Review applications and score based on a rubric.
• Input responses into the reader portal for admissions purposes.
• Stay current on reader communications and updates through Slack and email.

Requirements

• Minimum Education/Experience: High school graduation and 4 years of work experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree from BYU.
• Access to internet and a computer to perform the job.

Pay

Pay Grade: 46

Typical Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour
