Part-Time Ranch Worker

About the Role

USU Blanding offers a Ranch Horse Management Program exclusively at the USU Blanding Campus. This position provides assistance with feeding and upkeep of the horses.

Responsibilities

• Take care of USU horses
• Assist with Ranch chores

• No prior experience needed
• Ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple projects

Physical Requirements

This position requires moderate physical activity, including:

• Moderate lifting (up to 50 pounds)
• Walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and squatting
• Nearly continuous standing, repetitive hand motions, and reaching overhead
• Exposure to unusual elements such as extreme temperatures, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises
