About the Role
The Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) collaborates with nursing teams to enhance residents' quality of life by administering medications and providing compassionate care.
Responsibilities
- Assist with medication administration following state-approved training and protocols.
- Support nursing staff in resident care activities.
- Provide compassionate caregiving to improve residents' well-being.
Requirements
- Completion of a state-approved course and examination.
- At least one year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
- Proficiency in English, knowledge of medical terminology, and basic medical procedures.
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Schedule
Flexible schedules are available, including options for 12-hour shifts on weekends or 8-hour weekday routines with no weekend obligations.
