About the role

Right At School is seeking a Program Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for driving the mission of inspiring a love of learning, supporting schools, and giving families peace of mind through high-quality before and after school programs.

Responsibilities

  • Exhibits role model qualities ensuring safety and joy standards are met by supporting a clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities to a team of staff members.
  • Safeguard operational efficiency by keeping site documents and licensing standards up to date.
  • Outlines attendance protocols, behavior policies, safety procedures, and ensures program tasks are completed effectively.
  • Continually coaches, fosters respectful relationships among staff to address any challenges or issues promptly to maintain team cohesion and productivity.
  • Consistently supports and reports on safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all participants. Identifies and mitigates any potential risks within the program environment.
  • Engages meaningfully with families, client partners, peers, and children to support effective communication and relationship building. Responds promptly to emails, text messages, and inquiries during program hours to ensure transparency and trust.
  • Communicates and collaborates regularly with the Area Manager to support outlined program goals and assist in implementing changes or processes as guided.
  • Maintains accurate records for student check-ins and check-outs. Ensures “name to face” attendance procedures are completed per company policy.
  • Implements daily activities, fitness fun, and curriculum while providing a safe and engaging environment.

Requirements

  • 2 years experience working with children and knowledge of unique and special needs.
  • Coursework or training in child development and/or related field.
  • Communication skills; oral, written, and visual with adults and children.
  • Ability to model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community.
  • Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn.
  • Nevada Requirements: Ability to meet state-specific requirements; First Aid and CPR-in-person, Mandated Reporter training, Health Certificate with a Negative TB Test, 18+ years of age, Minimum of 12 college credits, Cleared background check with fingerprinting (State/Federal & CANNS).

$19-22/hr (based on education and experience)

Schedule

Both shifts required
Before School: Mon-Fri 6:45AM-9:10AM
After School: Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri 2:45pm-6:00pm, Wed 2:00pm-6:00pm
