Job Summary

Right At School is seeking mission-driven individuals to join our team and inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give parents peace of mind. We provide safe, fun, and meaningful extended day enrichment programs for students in 17 states.

About the role

We are currently looking for candidates who are available to work the full shift all 5 days from 1:30pm-6pm Monday-Friday. This position offers competitive compensation, commuter benefits, and opportunities for growth and professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and coach a team passionate about providing a safe, fun, engaging environment
  • Work closely with principals and school staff to enhance the instructional experience
  • Instill the Right At School footprint by participating in local community events
  • Manage and maintain safety standards including supervision and program paperwork
  • Deliver quality enrichment programs for children using our internally crafted Disguised Learning curriculum

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED completed
  • Experience working with children and knowledge of unique and special needs
  • Coursework or training in child development and/or related field
  • Communication skills; oral, written, and visual with adults and children
  • Ability to model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community
  • Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn
  • Meet state-specific requirements: LIVE Scan fingerprint, FA/CPR, Mandated Reporter training, Health Certificate with Negative TB Test (from a physician)

Pay and Schedule

$25-$28/hr. (Dependent on education & experience)
Program hours: 1:30pm-6pm Monday-Friday (Start time may vary per site)

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have prior experience supervising others and possess communication skills; oral, written, and visual with adults and children. Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn is also required.
