About the role
The Part-Time Program Manager for the Heritage Youth Chorus is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and ensuring the success of the program. This individual will work closely with the Director of Choral Activities to develop and implement new initiatives, manage budgets, and coordinate with external partners.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Heritage Youth Chorus
- Develop and implement new programs and initiatives
- Manage budgets and financial resources
- Coordinate with external partners and stakeholders
- Collaborate with the Director of Choral Activities to ensure program success
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Choral Conducting, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in choral music education or administration
- Experience managing budgets and financial resources
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Passion for choral music and youth development
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Skills
- Choral conducting and music theory knowledge
- Experience with choral repertoire and performance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
