Part Time Program Manager - Galloway Township Public Schools

Right At School provides local school districts with before- and after-school extended-day programs focused on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment dedicated to the success of all students. About the role

As Program Manager you will drive the mission by ensuring safety and joy standards, supporting operational efficiency, coaching staff, and maintaining compliance with licensing and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit role-model qualities to ensure safety and joy standards are met by supporting a clear understanding of roles and responsibilities for a team of staff members.
• Support operational efficiency by keeping site documents and licensing standards up to date.
• Outline attendance protocols, behavior policies, safety procedures, and ensure program tasks are completed effectively.
• Provide continual coaching and foster respectful relationships among staff to address challenges promptly and maintain team cohesion and productivity.
• Consistently support and report on safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all participants; identify and submit proof of any potential risks within the program environment.
• Engage meaningfully with families, client partners, peers, and children to build effective communication and relationships.
• Respond promptly to emails, text messages, and inquiries during program hours to ensure transparency and trust.
• Communicate and collaborate regularly with the Area Manager to support outlined program goals and assist in implementing changes or processes as guided.
• Maintain accurate records for student check-ins and check-outs; ensure “name to face” attendance procedures are completed per company policy.
• Implement daily activities, fitness fun, and curriculum while providing a safe and engaging environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED completed.
• Experience working with children and knowledge of unique and special needs.
• Coursework or training in child development and/or related field.
• Strong communication skills—oral, written, and visual—with adults and children.
• Ability to model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community.
• Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn.
• 18+ years of age.

New Jersey State Requirements

• Ability to meet state-specific requirements.
• First Aid and CPR (in-person certification).
• Cleared tuberculosis test.
• Short- and Long-Term Disability.
• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma.
• One of the following combinations:
  • 6 hours training in child care and 3 hours in child program management, OR
  • Certificate as a Recreation Technician from the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) plus 6 hours training in child care, 3 hours in child program management, and 2 years experience, OR
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) Certificate, Group Teacher Approval, or 15 college credits in child development, education, recreation, psychology, health care, nursing, or any other field related to child growth and development plus 6 hours training in child care, 3 hours in child program management, and 2 years experience, OR
  • 15 college credits in areas not related to children plus 6 hours training in child care, 3 hours in child program management, and 3 years experience, OR
  • Associate’s Degree in any field plus 6 hours training in child care, 3 hours in child program management, and 2 years experience, OR
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a child-related field or Office of Licensing Head Teacher Approval plus 3 hours training in child program management and 1 year experience, OR
  • Certificate as a Recreation Administrator, Recreation Supervisor, or Recreation Professional plus 3 hours training in child program management and 1 year experience, OR
  • Bachelor’s Degree in an unrelated field plus 6 hours training in child care, 3 hours in child program management, and 1 year experience, OR
  • School Age Program Supervisor endorsement from the New Jersey Registry for Childhood Professionals, Professional Impact New Jersey.
• Training requirements must be completed within 9 months of being approved as Program Supervisor by the OOL.

Pay

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour (based on education and experience).

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 8:35 AM and 3:20 PM - 6:00 PM.
