Program Manager at Right At School provides local school districts before and after school extended day programs with a focus on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment dedicated to the success of all students. Pay & Hours
Pay Rate: $19.00-$23.00 (based on education and experience)
Program Hours: Monday-Friday 2:40pm to 6:00pm
Responsibilities
- Exhibits role model qualities ensuring safety and joy standards are met by supporting a clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities to a team of staff members.
- Safeguard operational efficiency by keeping site documents and licensing standards up to date.
- Outline attendance protocols, behavior policies, safety procedures, and ensure program tasks are completed effectively.
- Continually coach, foster respectful relationships among staff to address any challenges or issues promptly to maintain team cohesion, and productivity.
- Consistently support and report on safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all participants.
- Engage meaningfully with families, client partners, peers, and children to support effective communication and relationship building. Respond promptly to emails, text messages, and inquiries during program hours to ensure transparency and trust.
- Communicate and collaborate regularly with the Area Manager to support outlined program goals and assist in implementing changes or processes as guided.
- Maintain accurate records for student check-ins and check-outs. Ensure “name to face” attendance procedures are completed per company policy.
- Implement daily activities, fitness fun, and curriculum while providing a safe and engaging environment.
Requirements
- Submit proof of MMR
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent AND meet one of the following:
- Two years of full-time child care experience in a child care center or early childhood work experience
- An undergraduate, graduate, or associate degree, with at least 12 semester hours in child development, child psychology, early childhood education or a directly related field
- Completion of a community college curriculum program in the area of child care of early childhood
- One year of full-time verifiable child care or early childhood work experience and a North Carolina Early Childhood Credential
- Must obtain the North Carolina Early Childhood Administration Credential or its equivalent within 6 months after assuming administrative duties and must complete the credential or its equivalent within two years after beginning work.
