Department Specific Responsibilities
- Assists with coordinating events or co-events, including hands-on support during the event, arranging hospitality, and communication.
- Helps create and participate in outreach in order to make the campus community aware of SEAS programs and classes.
- Creates and disseminates marketing materials like posters or digital signs.
- Represents SEAS at HLS meetings when the Director cannot attend - taking notes.
- Captures regular news and updates via the SEAS listserve and helps keep the website updated.
- Monitors SEAS email.
- Affords coordination and oversight of Fulbright Language Teaching Assistants (FLTAs) with the Director and HLS staff.
- Aids in communication and scheduling for language assessment exams.
Education Requirements
Required: High school diploma or equivalent (such as HSED or GED).
Skills Requirements
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in computer Microsoft Office Suite of programs such as Word, Excel, Data Base Management, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Demonstrates time management and priority setting skills.
- Demonstrates a high commitment to quality.
- Possesses flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Maintains strong organizational and planning skills.

Salary Range
$15.00 - $17.00 hourly based on skills and experience
Schedule
This position is an in-person role requiring regular office hours. It is scheduled for 10 - 15 hours per week.
