About the role

The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Jackson is accepting applications for a part-time Practical Nursing Instructor for the Whiteville Extension campus. This is a faculty position in the Practical Nursing department at TCAT Jackson.

Responsibilities

• Assist with conducting training of students in Practical Nursing.
• Assist with curriculum instruction in the classroom.
• Supervise students' clinical experience as scheduled.
• Assist with actively seeking potential clinical sites for the provision of clinical training.
• Demonstrate a commitment to staying current in the nursing field.
• Confer with administration to gain knowledge and better understand policy, procedure, and technology changes.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• Active licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee.
• Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse within the last five (5) years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) preferred.
• Teaching experience preferred.
