Title: Part-Time Practical Nursing Instructor- Whiteville Campus Employee Classification: Faculty Institution: TCAT-Jackson Department: Practical Nursing Campus Location: Whiteville Extension Campus Job Summary The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Jackson is accepting applications for a part-time Practical Nursing Instructor for the Whiteville extension campus. Job Duties Minimum Qualifications Associate Degree in Nursing required. Must hold active licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee, B.S.N preferred. Must have a minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse within the last five (5) years. Preferred Qualifications Teaching experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Assist with conducting training of students in Practical Nursing. Assist with curriculum instruction in the classroom. Supervise students’ clinical experience as scheduled. Assist with actively seeking potential clinical sites for the provision of clinical training. Demonstrate a commitment to staying current in the nursing field. Confer with administration to gain knowledge and better understand policy, procedure, and technology changes.
