About the Role
Under administrative leadership, part-time faculty members perform tasks supporting the district's visions, missions, and values. Responsibilities include classroom assignments, student evaluations, curriculum development, advising, and any other specific needs.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate students for learning disabilities
- Develop and implement educational programs tailored to learning disabilities
- Provide individualized counseling and support services
- Collaborate with other professionals to enhance student success
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to learning disabilities
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Learning Disabilities, Special Education, Education, Psychology, Speech Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Educational or School Psychology, Counseling, or Rehabilitation Counseling
- Fifteen semester units of upper division or graduate study in the area of learning disabilities
- Current certification in the Learning Disabilities Eligibility and Services Model (LDESM)
