Part Time Pool - Counselor (Calworks)

About the role

Under administrative leadership, part-time faculty perform tasks that support the advancement of the visions, missions, and values of the colleges and District. Responsibilities include classroom instruction, student evaluation, curriculum development, student advising, professional development, and any assignment-specific duties.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, rehabilitation counseling, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, guidance counseling, educational counseling, social work, career development, marriage and family therapy, or marriage, family and child counseling; OR
• Equivalent qualifications (submit an Equivalency Determination Form with supporting materials).

Working Conditions

Faculty positions may require long periods of standing and walking in a typical classroom setting. Specific conditions may vary by subject taught.

Salary

Starting salary range: $50.32 – $61.17 per hour (Class II, step 1 to Class VI, step 1) based on the Adjunct, Overload and Substitute Salary Schedule.
