About the Role

As a Part-Time Poker Dealer at Atlantis Casino Resort Spa, you will deal various poker games in a professional and efficient manner, ensuring fair play and an enjoyable experience for all guests. This role is key to delivering the luxury and hospitality that define our premier destination in Reno, Nevada.

Responsibilities

• Deal poker games accurately and efficiently, including Texas Hold'em, Omaha, and Stud.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of all poker rules and house policies.
• Clearly and audibly announce all game actions, pot sizes, and winning hands.
• Monitor game play for any signs of cheating or irregular activity and report suspicious behavior to floor supervisors.
• Collect and distribute chips, ensuring proper payouts.
• Maintain a positive and engaging demeanor with all guests.
• Adhere to all gaming regulations and company policies.
• Assist with table maintenance and chip fills as needed.
• Handle guest questions and concerns professionally and refer complex issues to management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a professional poker dealer preferred.
• Proven ability to deal various poker games accurately and efficiently.
• Excellent mathematical skills for calculating pots and payouts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and have good manual dexterity.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain all required gaming licenses.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of responsible gaming practices.
