About the role
Provide medically prescribed physical therapy services to inpatients and outpatients to restore function, prevent disability, improve wound healing, and maximize patient independence in a community-focused medical center.
Responsibilities
- Organize and conduct therapy sessions
- Support patients in managing disabilities and reintegration into society
- Develop treatment plans
- Support patient recovery and wound management
- Maintain licensure and certifications
- Adhere to hospital policies and standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Minimum of two years’ experience preferred
- Specific experience in Wound Care required
- Valid Maryland license
- CPR certification
Skills
- Strong knowledge of physical therapy practices
- Wound care expertise
- Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
