Part Time Pharmacy Technician

About the role

We seek a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

Location: 425 Broadway Suite P, Paducah, KY 42001

Schedule

• Part-time with 24 hours guaranteed weekly with potential to flex up to 40 hours weekly based on business need
• Monday through Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm with lunch from 12:00pm to 1:00pm

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
• Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist
• Order, receive and store incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receive and process wholesaler medication orders
• Verify medication stock and enter data in computer to maintain inventory records
• Work with the Pharmacist to assist in pharmacy functions and keep the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Perform various clerical duties relating to the department
• Communicate with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Kentucky
• Access to reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience

Pay

The hourly pay for this role will range from $16 to $29 per hour based on full-time employment.
