About the role

We seek a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

Schedule

  • Part-time with 11 hours guaranteed weekly
  • Weekends only, Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00am–12:30pm

329 N Salina St, Syracuse, NY 13203 (located within Helio Health)

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
  • Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist
  • Order, receive, and store incoming pharmacy supplies
  • Receive and process wholesaler medication orders
  • Verify medication stock and enter data in computer to maintain inventory records
  • Work with the Pharmacist to assist in pharmacy functions and keep the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
  • Perform various clerical duties relating to the department
  • Communicate with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Other duties as assigned

Pay

The hourly pay for this role will range from $16–$29 per hour based on full-time employment.

Requirements

  • Access to reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification
  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license
  • Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience
