Part-Time Periodontist

About the role

Part-time Periodontist position in Sherman, TX, with two clinical days per month dedicated to surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat periodontal and peri-implant diseases
• Perform full-scope periodontal and implant surgeries, including:
  • Pocket reduction
  • Osseous surgery
  • Soft-tissue grafting
  • Crown lengthening
  • Implant placement
  • Grafting
  • Sinus augmentation
• Manage a variety of cases, including consults and follow-ups
• Collaborate with general dentists and team members to ensure efficient patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation according to standards

Requirements

• DDS or DMD degree
• Completion of a CODA-accredited residency
• Active Texas dental license
• Board certification or eligibility preferred
• Experience in periodontal and implant surgery in a clinical setting
• Comfort with flexible scheduling, including same-day procedures
