Part-Time Periodontist

About the Role

This part-time position is for a Periodontist providing surgical care in Sherman, TX. The role emphasizes high-quality patient care and clinical impact in underserved communities. Candidates can work remotely and travel to the practice location as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat periodontal and peri-implant diseases
• Perform full-scope periodontal and implant surgeries, including pocket reduction, osseous surgery, soft-tissue grafting, crown lengthening, implant placement, and grafting/sinus augmentation
• Manage a variety of cases, including consults, follow-ups, and same-day surgical procedures when appropriate
• Collaborate with dental team members to ensure efficient patient care and case acceptance
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical standards and regulations

Qualifications & Skills

• DDS or DMD degree with completion of a CODA-accredited Periodontics residency
• Active Texas dental license; Board Certified or Eligible preferred
• Experience in periodontal and implant surgery in a clinical setting
• Comfortable with flexible scheduling and occasional same-day procedures
