About the role
Apart from handling payroll processing tasks, the role involves managing employee benefits and ensuring compliance with labor laws.
Responsibilities
- Process payroll for multiple departments in a timely manner
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all payroll transactions
- Manage employee benefits administration including enrollment and claims processing
- Comply with all relevant labor laws and regulations
- Prepare and submit required reports and tax forms
- Handle employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in payroll processing
- Strong knowledge of payroll software and HRIS systems
- Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with data entry and report generation
Skills
- Proficient in QuickBooks and/or other payroll software
- Familiarity with HRIS systems such as ADP or Gusto
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
