About the role
Under general supervision and according to prescribed procedures, greets patients, prepares forms, collects, verifies and enters patient information into Centricity/EPIC necessary for the timely and accurate processing of patient claims. Prepares paperwork necessary for the patient visit. Answers incoming phone calls and directs calls, makes appointments, performs cashier duties as directed by the Practice Manager to include posting of charges, collection of co-payments/co-insurance and balances due. Follows process for release of medical information and FMLA/disability forms completion as requested.
Qualifications
- High school graduate and/or associate or bachelor’s degree
- Prefer minimum of one year experience in medical clinic setting

- Working knowledge of insurance
- Epic/EMR background a plus
