About the Role

A Dialysis Technician provides safe and effective hemodialysis therapy as part of a healthcare team, working under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and discontinues dialysis treatments, monitors patient vitals, weight, and vascular access, reporting any abnormalities.
• Sets up, operates, and performs safety checks on hemodialysis machines, administering heparin as permitted.
• Accurately records treatment details and prepares laboratory specimens.
• Delivers excellent patient service while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Requirements

• Ability to perform hands-on patient care.
• Operate dialysis equipment and monitor vital signs.
• Document accurately and communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Compliance with state and federal regulations is essential.
