About the role
We are seeking an Associate Patient Care Coordinator to support patient registration, intake, and scheduling processes.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and patients, providing excellent customer service in person, via phone, or video
- Enter and update patient demographic and financial information, ensuring accurate registration
- Collect patient liabilities, provide financial information, and balance cash daily
- Collaborate with departments such as Financial Counseling, Scheduling, and clinical teams to complete patient encounters
- Provide hospital navigation, coordinate admission needs, and manage bed assignments
- Maintain audit accuracy, work with error reports, and resolve discrepancies
- Perform additional duties as needed
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of customer service experience in an office or professional setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in medical office or hospital admitting/registration
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology
Pay
Compensation ranges from $16.00 to $29.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
