Part Time Patient Care Coordinator

About the Role

Supports patient care in emergency, admitting, switchboard, and information desk areas, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient communication. Responsible for greeting visitors, managing confidential information, updating patient records, providing financial information, and coordinating patient admission needs. Maintains departmental procedures, tracks physician schedules, and collaborates with various departments to complete patient encounters. Ensures accurate data entry, balances cash, and provides hospital navigation assistance.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or 5+ years of customer service experience
• 1+ years of customer service in a medical setting
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments
• Must be 18 or older and available for scheduled evening shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• Emergency Department experience
• Familiarity with electronic medical records
• Knowledge of medical terminology

Training

Provides 6-8 weeks of paid on-site training.

Pay

$16.00 to $29.00 per hour.
