About the role

The Parts Counter Person is knowledgeable about automotive parts and accessories, accurately answering customer questions in person or by phone. They locate parts within inventory or from external sources and arrange delivery and installation. This role also involves receiving and stocking incoming parts and maintaining warehouse standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive and stock incoming parts and accessories
• Locate parts and arrange for installation
• Monitor parts inventory and coordinate installation
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vehicles, accessories, and promotions
• Ensure accurate sales documentation and timely reports
• Facilitate safe and on-time delivery of parts following company procedures
• Maintain warehouse housekeeping standards
• Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

• Previous experience with automotive parts and accessories
• Pleasant and courteous personality with strong customer service skills
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong phone and computer proficiency
