PART TIME PARTS COUNTER/DRIVER (Boonsboro MD)

About the role

We are seeking a Part Time Parts Counter/Driver to join our NAPA family in Boonsboro, MD. This role offers a unique opportunity to help customers with their automotive needs, either in person at the counter or over the phone.

Responsibilities

• Provide auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers
• Use parts knowledge to assist other NAPA team members answer questions for customers
• Engage customers to provide a positive consumer experience
• Use technology such as computer, cash register, telephone, and paper catalog system

Requirements

• Valid Drivers License
• Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn all things auto parts
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Lovely fast-paced retail environments
• Great listening skills and empathy for customers

Qualifications

• Background and/or passion for automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership (optional)
• Experience in a parts store, auction, retail store, auto body/collision (optional)
• Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems (optional)
• Customer-centric (external/internal)
• ASE Certifications (optional)
