PART TIME PARTS DRIVER

About the role

Beach Automotive is currently looking for a parts delivery driver to add to our team. We are looking for a team player who is self-motivated to deliver automotive parts to local repair facilities within the local region. This position will be part time working 2 days a week, potentially filling in when needed.

Responsibilities

• Pulling/picking parts for orders based on invoices/pick tickets
• Load/unload delivery vehicles with parts identified for customers
• Deliver and pick up parts to and from customers ensuring accuracy of items delivered
• Handle returns picked up from customers ensuring proper paperwork is provided
• Operate delivery vehicles in a safe manner
• Keep delivery vehicles clean and in good running condition, notifying management of any damage or services needed
• Maintain a professional appearance of one’s self and parts dept
• Communicate with customers and staff in a friendly and professional manner
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean record
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
• Must be able to lift 40+ lbs
• Able to climb ladder to pull parts

Pay and Schedule

The job type is part-time, with a pay rate of $12.00 - $13.00 per hour. The shift is 8am-5pm. The work location is in person at 851 Jason Blvd, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.
