Part-Time Parts Coordinator (Light/Medium Duty)

Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading Fleet Maintenance Companies in the U.S., is seeking an experienced Part-Time Light/Medium Duty Parts Coordinator to support inside parts ordering activity under the Purchasing Manager.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain productive, long-lasting relationships with internal teammates and clients.
• Work with internal customers in a professional, courteous manner.
• Become familiar with client’s vehicle assignments.
• Locate difficult-to-find parts and negotiate with vendors to secure the best deals.
• Accurately quote parts and input information into the management system.
• Track lost sales.
• Assist other parts coordinators as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a highly competitive market; prior success selling wholesale auto parts, particularly in the aftermarket industry, preferred.
• Knowledge of light/medium duty parts and vehicles.
• Exceptional phone skills: positive, enthusiastic, and attentive tone; clear enunciation; exceptional listening skills.
• Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Passionate about exceptional customer service and building lasting business relationships.
• ASE certifications in P1 and P2 preferred.
• Results-focused, proactive, and committed to growth.
• Experience with POS systems a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, specifically MS Word and Excel.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to act and operate independently to accomplish objectives.
• Outgoing, assertive personality with a “can-do attitude.”

Schedule

• Saturday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Sunday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay

$20 - $25/hour, dependent on experience.
