Part-Time Parking Lot Attendant, IMU and Biddle Hotel
Department-Specific Responsibilities
- Attends parking lots and facilities to collect fees from visitors.
- May apply discounts through coupons or validation; may direct fees through IU department billing.
- Provides positive customer service by answering visitor questions regarding directions, parking policies, and event information.
- Operates and monitors computer, cash drawer, and parking gates.
- Maintains general upkeep and cleanliness of parking booth and parking facilities.
Education
Required: High school diploma or equivalent (such as HSED or GED).
Skills
- Proficient communication skills.
- Proficient in cash and cash drawer handling.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism.
- Demonstrates time management and priority setting skills.
- Demonstrates a high commitment to quality.
- Maintains professionalism in adverse or stressful situations.
- Ability to read and learn parking regulations, departmental procedures and policies, and give customers correct information.
