About the role
We are seeking passionate Paramedics to provide compassionate, high-quality patient care and emergency response services.
Responsibilities
- Assess call situations and determine appropriate actions based on paramedic protocols.
- Use medical equipment such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and IV fluids to deliver advanced care.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide information and reassurance.
- Lead scene and unit management as a Paramedic team leader.
- Drive ambulances during emergency responses.
- Collaborate professionally with healthcare and public safety personnel.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid California driver’s license, ambulance driver’s license, and medical examiner’s card.
- State of California Paramedic License.
- CPR (AHA Healthcare Provider), ACLS, and PALS or PEPP certifications.
- Compliance with driving records policy.
- Completion of ICS courses (IS-100B, IS-200B, IS-700A, IS-800B).
