Part Time - Paramedic

Responsibilities

• Assess call situations and determine appropriate action following advanced protocols.
• Utilize medical equipment such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and IV fluids to deliver advanced patient care.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their loved ones, providing reassurance and information.
• Serve as team leader when necessary, managing scene safety and unit operations.
• Drive ambulance during emergency responses.
• Collaborate professionally with healthcare and public safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to enhance community relations and uphold the organization's image.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• State Paramedic License and Driver’s License
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic
• Valid driving record, pass physical agility test
• Some healthcare-related work experience preferred
