Part-Time Paramedic

Minimum Qualification

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 21 years old.

Supplemental Information

• Physical Demands: Performs heavy work involving lifting, shoveling, and carrying 35 to 50 pounds on a regular and recurring basis and exerting 100 pounds of force on an occasional basis.
• Unavoidable Hazards: Routine and frequent exposure to bright/dim light, dusts and pollen, extreme heat and/or cold, wet or humid conditions, extreme noise levels, animals/wildlife, vibration, fumes and/or noxious odors, traffic, moving machinery, electrical shock, heights, radiation, disease/pathogens.
• Special Certifications and Licenses: Must be a State of Georgia licensed Paramedic. Must maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving history.

Required at Interview

• Valid Driver's License.
• Three (3) Year MVR Driving History.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Certified EMT-B, EMT-I, EMT-A, or Paramedic.
• Current Level of Training License.
• State Certification.
• CPR Card.
• American with Disabilities Act (ADA) Accommodations.

Standard Clauses

• May be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays to meet the business needs of the County.

Essential Safety Functions
