Part Time Overnight Grocery

About the role

Cub Coon Rapids South is seeking a dedicated part-time overnight Grocery Stocker. This role ensures product availability, freshness, and a well-maintained shopping environment by following stocking procedures, including load cutting, sorting, display building, and product rotation. Attention to detail and strong customer service skills are essential to contribute to an efficient and enjoyable shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete stocking assignments within allotted time
• Handle product carefully to avoid damage
• Use proper case cutting techniques
• Ensure correct placement of stock on shelves
• Rotate and face product to maintain freshness and minimize waste
• Perform clean-up of sales floor and back room
• Assist customers with questions or requests

Requirements

• Operate equipment such as scanners, registers, check approval machines, coupon machines, intercoms, calculators, etc.
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Basic memorization, reading, writing, and math skills
• Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate customer service with ongoing customer interaction
• Use good judgment, especially when direct supervision may not be immediately available
• Understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
• Write identifying information and request supplies verbally or in writing
• Work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be at least 16 years of age

Physical Requirements

• Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
• Walking on uneven ground
• Reaching, bending, turning, and repetitive motions

Schedule

Varied weekly shifts between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM.

Pay

UNFI anticipates paying a competitive hourly rate within an established pay range for this position. Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, training, and applicable collective bargaining agreements.
