Part-Time Outpatient Mental Health Therapist

Be a part of a national movement to end the stigma, fill the gaps, and bring greater innovation to mental health in Greeley, CO and Northern Colorado. We are looking for passionate and creative licensed or license-eligible therapists to join our team on a part-time basis, seeing between 10 and 20 clients weekly with flexible scheduling to meet caseload needs.

About the role

As an Outpatient Therapist at Ellie Mental Health, you'll share our vision for improving and expanding access to quality mental health care. Ellie supports clinicians by providing centralized administrative, technology, referral, and inquiry support, client/therapist matching, initial scheduling, and ongoing billing and collections to minimize administrative burdens.

This position is located in Longmont, CO and serves clients primarily in person, with the option for telehealth where clinically indicated. The role reports to the location’s Clinic Manager.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create, and implement treatment plans, and complete ongoing documentation (including treatment plan reviews and case notes) according to company policy.
• Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in the community.
• Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals.
• Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol.
• Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed.
• Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings.
• Contribute to a thriving team culture.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in behavioral sciences or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• On track to obtain licensure (LMFT, LPC, LCSW, LPCC, etc.) with a valid license to practice in Colorado; licensed clinicians preferred.
• General knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing, and mental health documentation.
• Experience completing treatment plans and clinical case notes.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients.
• Ability to complete and submit documentation in a timely manner.
• Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base.
• Proficiency in Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience a plus).
• Pass a background check.

Preferred qualifications: Currently credentialed with insurance panels, bilingual clinicians, and availability for evenings and/or weekends.

Pay

$22,000.00 - $32,000.00 per year.
