Job Responsibilities

• Receive orders, identify the pick locations and safely pick the items at the established rate
• Build stable and well cubed pallets
• Safely operate pallet jacks and push carts
• Able to learn and perform duties in accordance with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) policies and procedures
• Inspects assigned jack for safety issues
• Enters the proper information into the productivity measure
• Identifies the correct pick location and pick sequence in accordance to the order
• Picks the correct item and quantity, checking UPC’s or item descriptions
• Places pick labels on the side of the cases

Position Requirements

• Previous Warehouse/Selecting experience strongly preferred
• Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available

Physical Requirements

• Lifting objects weighing up to 100 lbs. consistently
• Occasionally pushing, sitting, touching, reaching, climbing, pulling, and gripping

Knowledge

• Understanding of Safety guidelines
• Strong knowledge of applicable Bakco functions and RF systems
