Warehouse Order Selector (Part-Time)

About the role

Immediate hiring for Warehouse Order Selectors with no experience required.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders for delivery to foodservice venues in the local community.
• Operate an electric pallet jack, and/or forklift.
• Organize and palletize product to build customer orders.
• Develop transport schedules, methods, and routes.
• Analyze and project transportation costs.
• Cook offloads and customs clearances.
• Maintain, load, pack, and drive vehicles.
• Evaluate, select, and manage ongoing relationships with external transport providers.
• Acquire and manage fleet vehicles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Frequent lifting of product weighing 10 lbs to 75 lbs and up to 100 lbs.
• Frequent reaching up to 72 inches.
• Constantly bending and twisting while operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.
• Work in very extreme temperatures (cooler and/or freezer).
• Work on your feet for 10 – 12 hours daily.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.
• 1 year of warehouse, military, or physically active job experience.
• 1 year selection experience.
• 2 years consistent work history preferred.
